Hi I am wanting to use the MaipMails to send mass emails to 100-200 customers at once. We will use this for simple text emails to notify customers that the office is closed due to snow or to pass on other basic info.
I want this to be a teaser in the hopes our users will want to upgrade to RMail so they will have the ability to do more advanced Emails from inside RBase. Now the problem, I am only getting 6-7 emails sent per minute using MapiMail4 and a cursor to walk through the table with only 200 names. It appears each time the plugin is launched it takes 5+ seconds. We run this from a form where we fill out 2 vars, one for the Subject and the other for the Body of the Email. Then we click the button that fires the EEP with the Declare cursor If I try using MapiMail2 the email screen pops up. I must be missing something simple? Any suggestions Thanks Marc
