Rachael, One server services everything. It is a Dell T300 with a Xeon quad core processor, 8 gig of ram. I believe the processor and memory should be able to handle the workload. I have watched the CPU usage and it usually hovers between 2% and 50%, occasionally spiking to 80%. Memory usage is steady at 4.2 gig. Network traffic rarely goes above 100mbs (the NICs and switch are all 1 gig)
They rarely run other application. However, they do run QuickBooks fairly often. I don't know how TS was installed and I am not sure what is meant by "applications mode". I will need to check into that. My compiled application resides on the server not on the workstation. Thanks for your thoughts. All users are running Terminal Services. Is anyone else running MS Server 2008 (64 bit)? Does anyone know what causes this type of problem? Any help will be appreciated. John
