I'm sorry, Karen, but if someone is unwilling to use valuable new features in a programming language because they don't like the syntax for them, the problem runs deeper than this particular form. I'm sorry if I'm hurting anyone's feelings (those other programmers may be reading this), but think how the Dream Team must feel when they work hard to add valuable enhancements to the system and then hear that they go unused for what I think any reasonable programmer would agree is a silly reason. Honestly, if it were up to me I also would have used a different syntax for these commands. But it isn't up to me, and the ability to have external forms that aren't bound to the database is far too valuable to be ignored. At the client I'm working with today it's utterly changed (and improved) their backup and maintenance routines. -- Larry
