After many years, my trusty XP based HP laptop bit the dust. Actually
I dropped it very clumsily before a presentation. Got a new Toshiba w/
Win 7 Pro to LAN up at work and start developing wireless connections
back to the office servers. There have now been several times when
tables disappear after saving them in design mode while having an
associated form open. Views have also been doing that for awhile, but I
worked around that. Now menus that were rock solid are slipping
positions after picking them. A menu item in position 0 shows up in
position 7 then the form is run, but when editing it is back to position
0. Are there any quirks with Win7 Pro that are easy to solve. The IT guy
at work says just put XP on so all the machines stay the same and don't
sweat it. Any suggestions?
