It's nearly time! Add to your checklist and packing list for traveling to Monroeville, PA this weekend:
- Laundry: Do you have enough clean socks? The Dream Team is planning once again to blow your socks off. - Spending money: for discounted software products, buying a drink for your friends, and making donations to the Salvation Army/WTAE Television's Project Bundle Up (bringing winter coats to children and seniors in Western PA). - Tasteful jokes (for filling the time between speakers) - Tasteless jokes (as above, but these require an appropriate donation to Project Bundle Up, see above and below.) Helping Hands are still welcome and needed: - The conference Blog will be active during the conference, possibly with some added social-networking connections. Feel free to volunteer to help with the blgging, or be a twitterer (or a BFF or whatever). - One or more conference photographers are always helpful. - As always, we need Sergeants at Arms to police the conference room, and "request" appropriate donations to Project Bundle Up for those lapses in good conference etiquette. (Don't let your electronic devices make noise, don't ask a question that proves you haven't been paying attention, don't make political plugs or sports team references, etc.) - A Car Pool coordinator for Sunday afternoon/Monday morning rides to the airport.
