Using 9.0 RBEDIT, a setting seems to be missing. In 7.6, no
matter what file extension a file used, the editor properly
displayed text colors as I wished: comments pink, text
different color, R:BASE command bold, etc.
In 9.0, if I edit a file named SAFEPH1.FIX no colors and bold,
etc. display. If I rename the file SAFEPH1.RMD, colors and
fonts display as I wish them to.
Is there a new setting I must adjust in the editor to correct
this?
David,
Here's how:
01. Start R:BASE Editor 9.0
02. Main Menu | Settings ...
03. Select Edit Syntax Schemes ...
04. Select R:BASE and Click on [Edit] button
05. Click on [Extensions] tab
06. Click on [Add] button
07. In Extension dialog box, type FIX and then click on [OK]
08. Click on [OK] button (upper right) again to save Syntax
Scheme Editor settings.
09. Exit R:BASE Editor 9.0
10. Start R:BASE Editor 9.0
That's all there is to it!
Have fun.
Very Best R:egards,
