Reply to myself. Don't waste time on this one. Something stuck within the running instance of R:Base.
Hope the following may be helpful to someone: Opened second instance of R:Base, did UNLOAD ALL, properly closed that instance; blew away the stuck RGB8.exe process with Windows Task Manager; opened a new R:Base session, performed AUTOCHK and ran a few things. All good with the database. I wonder how many database products let you do that and produce a happy result. bruce chitiea safesectors inc > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: [RBASE-L] - TV-8 Report Designer: Hidden Instance > From: "Bruce Chitiea" <[email protected]> > Date: Mon, November 08, 2010 8:56 am > To: [email protected] (RBASE-L Mailing List) > > > All: > > A 'hidden' instance of the Report Designer prevents running the report > designer or gracefully disconnecting from the database.
