Ok,

Quick question.
I have the 9.1 installer but haven't done it yet.
Does it overwrite 9.0 or does it add a separate 9.1 exe to the 9.0 folder?

Very good question, Jan!

R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 installation is a whole new process along with a whole
new configuration, executables, as well as the R:BASE Engine 9.1 files.

A few tips:

01. Default installation folders:

    R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (32): \RBTI\RBG91_32
    R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (64): \RBTI\RBG91_64

02. Product Executables:

    R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (32): RBG91_32.exe
    R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (64): RBG91_64.exe

03. Product Configuration Files:

    R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (32): RBENGINE91_32.CFG
    R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (64): RBENGINE91_64.CFG

04. Product Engine Files:

    R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (32): RBENGINE91_32.DLL
    R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (64): RBENGINE91_64.DLL

05. Product ODBC Files:

    R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (32): RBG91_32.DLL, RBG91_32_INS.DLL
    R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (64): RBG91_64.DLL, RBG91_64_INS.DLL

06. Common R:Style File:

    R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (32/64): RStyle91.DLL

There is no conversion required to either CONNect or migrate from
R:BASE eXtreme 9.0 (32/64) to R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (32/64).

Make sure to use the latest installers along with current updates
of R:BASE eXtreme 9.1, R:Compiler 91, or Runtime 9.1.

Don't forget to take advantage of all new features, enhancements,
and NEW BSTR data type in R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (64).

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
