Image annotation is a cool feature of R:BASE BLOB Editor in R:BASE eXtreme
9.1 ONLY.

You may download the appropriate version of R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (32 or 64)
using the normal R:BASE Updates profile. http://www.rupdates.com

Once you have successfully installed the appropriate version of R:BASE
eXtreme 9.1 (Build: 9.1.1.11124) or higher, you may step through the
following "unedited quick tutorial" and/or steps to accomplish you goal.

00. Start R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (Build: 9.1.1.11124) or higher

01. At the R> prompt:

    RBBE imagefilename.ext

02. Notice the displayed file in [Image] tab of the R:BASE BLOB Editor.

03. Make sure to slid the "left separator" to right in order to view
    the status of the currently loaded image(s) as thumbnail(s).

04. Now, let's take a look at all available options and new tools ...

    Main Menu offers the following options:

    Then, take a close look at the available tool bar at the "bottom" with
    the following options:

    . Draw Text

05. While displaying images in the R:BASE BLOB Editor, annotations can be
    made using several type of drawing tools. Objects include:
   · Line
   · Box
   · Ellipse
   · Text
   · Ruler
   · Polyline
   · Angle

06. When placing the appropriate annotation type on the image, review/adjust
    the Drawing Tool Object Properties accordingly. Clicking on [OK] button
    to start editing.

07. After the object is added to the image and manipulated, by stretching or
    dragging the object using the mouse, the properties can be altered by
    double clicking on the object.

08. Objects can be moved by placing the mouse cursor in the middle of the
    control.

09. Objects can be stretched larger or smaller by selecting a corner and
    dragging the mouse.

10. When placing a text [Draw Text] object on the image and then clicking
    on [OK] button, start typing your text. Notice the text being typed.

    Moving mouse away from the image, and clicking on anything outside
    the image, will display text annotation on your image based on
    selected Drawing Tool Object Properties (Step 06).

    While reviewing the results, you may alter the properties by double
    clicking on the object again.

11. Finally, double-clicking on the thumbnail (left side of the separator)
    will save current properties and all annotations.

12. Clicking on [OK] or [Cancel] buttons (Lower Right Corner) of the
    R:BASE BLOB Editor will save or cancel your changes accordingly.
