Got it to work the way I wanted. Had to change my variable vTmpWhere clause to use literal (‘Where Column1 = ‘ + Ctxt(.ve1)) instead of my original which used dotted variable in where clause (‘Where Column1 = .ve1’). My original changed the listview when ve1 changed!. The new one does not change until I put in a new where clause.

When it just totally doesn't do what is expected - recreate the form. Don't copy the listview from somewhere else.
