Thanks, Karen but that will not work.

I have to have the detail section dynamic since I do not know how many
rows I will use each time.

The total area (one header 2 lines and the detail section) combined will
always have to be 3.5 inches height.

So regardless if my detail has 2 rows or 10 rows, I want it to go to the
next label.

I noticed an example in 7.6 using a cursor and pagemode. (telephone list
example)

Will that work? I have never done that before.

Right-click on the detail section and choose "static" rather than
dynamic. Then either drag the detail section to the exact height you
need, or choose "position" and type in the inches.

I want to be able to print labels using the report function because I
want to include breaks for the labels.

I have things set up so the information prints properly except for one
area.

I need the detail section to be dynamic but obviously I need to have the
vertical height of the whole print area to be constant regardless of the
number of lines in the detail section.

That way I can use a specific label for this report.

What is the best way to accomplish this if it is possible?
