I would not expect that to be the case, especially where structure corruption 
or .RB3 issues are concerned.

 

For instance, I’ve found that a PACK INDEX command will usually fix a corrupt 
index on a table, but that table is likely to experience a corrupt index again, 
sometimes soon.  A load/unload creates a fresh .RB3 file, free of any previous 
issues.  (Note:  I have not been able to replicate the issue and so have not 
been able to submit a boo-boo report.)
