  The command is not permitted from within an EEP would be my guess. It is 
changing the structure of the database and that isn't permitted in an EEP.

The form is based on a temporary view that does not include the table in 
question. The code works perfectly when run from a standalone file; the error 
happens when the exact same code runs inside a form.
