The good news is that I located my server challenge. It appears that a couple of my R:BASE forms “broke”. I can't tell you why. Perhaps they ended up over a bad spot on the hard drive. As many of you know, I am a big fan of the Variable List View. I use it in a lot of places. My main startup form has them. Now for whatever, the form would work fine with 2 or 3 people logged in but would burp after that and it would take maybe 3 minutes for a person to log in. I just recreated the ListView and we are back up and running. There are still a couple of problems that I'm working through. One of them has to do with images in a form but I also know that there has been a lot of recent work on that so I'm being patient until the next update. I know it is a form problem because I can do a save from a data row with an image but if I try to save a row from within a form with an image, I get totally thrown out. I only have 2 forms with images and they both do the same. This also only occurs across the network. Run these forms on my local machine and they are fine. I'm just waiting until the next update before I chase this one further as my folks have a work-around. The other good news is that I know that I have a healthy network now. All the wiring has been checked, new switch in place, every machine has a 1GB NIC in it and at least 1GB of RAM. Finally my new 2008 server should arrive shortly. Please understand that I don't believe any of this to be a problem with R:BASE. Jan
