It is my pleasure to announce the official release of R:Twain2PDF 9.1,
the R:BASE TWAIN to PDF output utility.

R:Twain2PDF is a compact utility program placed into a easy to use
interface for gathering images and TWAIN sources to quickly create
secure PDF documents.
You can select from a list of available TWAIN sources or from a
scanner to capture images. R:Twain2PDF uses the TWAIN driver that
is included with your scanner or TWAIN device.
The built-in R:Twain2PDF Image Editor provides many editing features
to manage and manipulate images for your R:BASE data. Compression
options for images include Flate and Jpeg.
R:Twain2PDF also supports OCR (optical character recognition), to
capture an area from the scanned documents. OCR options include the
capturing of an entire page or a specified region. Additional OCR
options allow you to choose specific page or any page range.
The PDF Document Properties allow you to add document information to
the PDF output. R:Twain2PDF and supports 128-bit encryption and user
permissions. Several Page Layout, Page Mode, and Viewer Preferences
are available.
Being fully compatible with R:BASE eXtreme 9.1, R:Twain2PDF 9.1
includes a Plugin for R:BASE automation of scanning documents within
your R:BASE applications.
This is a FREE upgrade for all existing users of R:Twain2PDF 9.0.
