Because you don't have a variable defined and assigned to the control.

I use variable list views in a lot of forms.
On a new form I am working on, I am getting some strange behavior.
I can find nothing different here than in the list view controls in
other forms.
When you edit multiple rows, clicking on any row below row one
instantly returns focus to row one.
I know its me, because it works everywhere else.
Any ideas on what could be causing this?
