You could disable the printer icon on the print preview screen, then ask the user if the data is correct. If it's correct, they get a hard copy and you can do your update. If it's not, then starts over - and they don't get their hard copy. Most of my reports go to screen first for review and then be printed. My issue is I need the data that drives the report to be saved to the main tables from temp table if the report is printed else the data is bad and start over. I have some simple code asking if the data was right and if the user answers yes then it save or no it dupes it and starts you over. The problem is the user does not seem to get it.
