Gunnar, You will be just fine! Just follow the steps to install "Windows XP Mode with Virtual PC". I had to install R:BASE 9.1 for DOS on my Sony Vaio notebook with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Operating System to convert a MAJOR R:BASE for DOS database and application for a big client to R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (64). Having R:BASE 9.1 for DOS allows me to see and run the actual DOS application to understand the existing logic and then migrate the similar directionality to R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (64).
