After moving the directory to a new server, one of my compiled apps is still generating " Error - Unable to locate component - This application has failed to start because directory RBENGINE75.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
Adding the RBENGINE75.DLL changes the error to a missing RB75IO.dll message and adding RB75IO.DLL fixes the problem while it also creates an RBENGINE75.CFG file. And I haven't use 7.5 in years... Per notes John Minyo gave me earlier in the year, I removed all the .RBL files and the error persists. This error is generated from XP and WIN 7 client stations with no R:BASE installed. Workstations with a full install do not get the error message. The sequence is: Click on the app.exe directly in the directory or app.exe -A in a shortcut; Error message appears; Click OK; Main application menu appears on desktop. Application doesn't appear affected, yet... I would appreciate any ideas as to where to look next.
