Somedays it is better to stay in bed. Looking through the FORMS list and notice there are about 25 forms with a duplicate. Same names, some with different version and dates. Others are exact dups. Tried to delete a dup, which works half the time. Renamed several dups by simply adding an "X" to the name. Go back and use DESIGNER to look at them. Some forms open up as expected, others simple say an object cannot be found and stay blank. AUTOCHK has no errors. PACK says SYS_FORM3 must be unique which I expect because I can see the duplicate names. RELOAD works just fine as does REBUILD, but no change in the dup forms. Last complete REBUILD was Sunday which went as usual. Turned comp off and later check for virus issues. Clean. Of course this comes after several days of heavy use by multiple people and a lot of data being entered. Tables seem to be fine. Only solutions I can think of:
1. Go do something else for awhile until frustration subsides. 2. Delete all forms and reload forms from a backup from several days ago. Problem is some of the dups do not delete. Bigger question - how does this happen? UPLOADing forms from another database has always erased the existing form before adding the new version.
