The 32 bit versions for windows and DOS -- v7.6 Win, v7.6 DOS, v9.0 Win, v9.1, v9.1 DOS can all connect to the same database.
Do be aware the v7.6 for DOS and v9.1 for DOS do not run under the 64 bit version of Windows 7. Since I only have the home version of Windows 7 I can test if the virtual machine option will allow the DOS version to run in a virtual machine. I plan in the future to explore the VM Ware virtual machine as a possible alternative.
