This is what I get R>show multi (MULTI ) ON MULTI-user database access capability
The users are accessing the database through a compiled .exe. The R:Base Engine file is embedded into the compiled .exe. The setting is stored in the cfg file not in the database. But if the first user connects with the multi set off then nobody else will be able to connect. Dan Goldberg From: Charles Parks<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Monday, May 02, 2011 9:56 AM To: RBASE-L Mailing List<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [RBASE-L] - Database in single user mode error I have a user that is getting an error message about multi may be set off. I have the database set to multi on. I have verified the user is able to create a text file on the network drive and save changes. I verified no $$$ files in the temp drive. I tried changing the user name to the user at the R> and connecting and I could connect. I had the user try this from a different computer. I have reloaded the database. What else can I check?
