Thanks Tony/Razzak,

Yes, always good to stay current and nice to have everything within the RBase app.
There are a few county agencies involved which use a similar letter and, I thought it easier to update their Word doc rather than have different flavors of the same letters in the application.

What version of Rbase are you using?
In 9.1 you are able to incorporate column values in an easy way in your
letter.
I am not sure it will be doable for an end user, but it does not take much
effort to adjust the changes.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - 1 row mail merge

The user has about six standard letters and when viewing a customer's
application form in the RBase app, they want to click a "Send Letter"
button.
There may be as many as 12 column values that need to be placed into
the appropriate letter. Many options, including ODBC, XLS, RTF, CSV,
dbase, etc.

Originally I thought about bringing the letters into the RBase app,
but since they may need to change the letters from time to time I was
looking for simplest approach.
Any suggestions appreciated.

TIA,
Dennis
