Subject: [RBASE-L] - RE: Using SCALEBY PROPERTY in Form

...and then there's the problem of differing screen sizes among users. Use
CVAL('SCREENSIZE') to get the user's screen dimensions and do a calculation to
get the right SCALEBY factor. Send me a private email and I'll send you the
code I use.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Using SCALEBY PROPERTY in Form

Good day.

Using Rbase Win7.6

I am looking into using PROPERTY RBASE_FORM SCALEBY
I looked at the above subject sample application, and the form is 400Wide x
200High, so the SCALEBY is 400
If I change the forms height to anything over 270 high in this example, and I
run the form; the bottom of the form runs/disappears off the screen.

Is it a general "rule" that if you use the SCALEBY property, you should keep
the forms Height to around half the size as the form's width?
Or I am missing a property setting that stops the height of the form from
scaling off the screen (getting to long/high!)

My forms are generally 1000W x 750H, and scaling to 1000, quite a bit of the
height of my forms are not seen on the screen when running!

Regards,
Lena
