Seems that, as you say Gateway then only dealt with script files (saved keystrokes was it then according to the Help file ) and export was limited to WK? files when it came to spreadsheet formats. Sorry my memory was awry on what could be done then. Maybe the only option is to extract the data using a series of UNLOAD commands and then massage the ASCII data back into spreadsheets for importing.
