Dennis: Don't remember the thread you're talking about. But I know that my virus checker has a setting where it checks all my exe's when they first load up, and then does not check them again the rest of the day. I can turn it off but I'm okay with it taking longer to load the first time. Are you sure this isn't a change in your virus checker causing the slowdown?
