Hi Tom
i am using the Task Scheduler for past 2 years and have multiple tasks being
running
i had faced similar problem earlier
you should check in the Scheduled Tasks by right clicking the task and
choose properties, Properties choose Settings Tab, and choose Stop Task if
it runs for { here specify the time for it to quit in case it soesnt }
as if this happens all other tasks fail to run

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Re: Windows task manager question
I posted this before and still do not have an explanation for why this
happens. The new computer is exactly like the one I replaced running
Windows 7. All other computers 4-5 running XP and 6-8 running 7 will run my
autobackup thru task scheduler. All Rbase and compiled apps are up to date.
I can run directly but not thru task scheduler.
Really, really stumped

Subject: Windows task manager question
I have an autobackup exe that I have been using for along time. Basically I
use Windows task manager to run the file at a certain time each night. This
has worked like a charm until I tried to run it on a new machine. It works
fine if you run the file directly from the folder but if it tries to run
from the task manager I get numerous messages like:
Rbase engine driver- \E-error-Invalid configuration file
Error - unrecognized global variable in expression
Error - expression cannot be evaluated
Any ideas why this happens in task manager and not when run directly
