I should add that as I checked commercial flights I could have flown United departing Portland at 8:15 AM arriving Pittsburgh 10PM so adjusting for time zones basically 11 hours and 45 minutes. Add on 2 hours at the beginning and allowing 1.5 hours to get my transportation and get to the hotel in Murrysville that brings it up to 15 hours and 15 minutes.
