Sorry for the confusion. When I said "variable list", I meant the list of variables defined for the form (Variables | Add / Edit Variables), not a Variable Lookup Listview control. The solution is for a region, not a listview control. To create variables on the form it must be bound, not a variable form, but I assume that's true because scrolling regions are a bound control. I'm turning over a solution in my head that requires only a PK column and doesn't depend on ordering or consecutive numbers. -- Larry
