We will take it under advisement (John/Razzak??).

Why not set up a paypal account for Project Bundle Up that we can send money to? I won't be coming, but would be happy to donate that way. I just want to remind you about Project Bundle Up. This wonderful program helps dis-advantaged children in the Pittsburgh area. In the past, developers from around the world have brought prizes that we auction or raffle off. Because of increased airline travel restrictions and so on, we are kind of downplaying the bringing of gifts. We are not discouraging you from bringing something but a couple of guidelines might be helpful. 1. While regional alcohol has been wildly popular in the past, carrying liquids in your carryon is frowned upon greatly by the airlines. 2. Underwear and socks can also be used as bombs so don't bring them either ;) . You will be allowed to wear them! We encourage you to perhaps bring something small and regional. For example, in my area we have Pendleton wool, so that would be an idea (not saying I'm bringing that). We will then we collect donations during the conference and perhaps run an auction on Saturday evening. Also we receive pledges from R:BASEers from all over the world. Then after all the monies are collected, Razzak (Donna) and RBTI match the monies and donate the proceeds to the Project. So reach deep down in your heart and pocket and give to this wonderful cause. The reach of Facebook is staggering. Don't forget to friend us at http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/RBASE-Conference/145253525517463 A recent thing I heard was that the average Facebooker has 133 friends. So if I post something on the R:BASE Facebook page, and you like us, then your 133 friends see it, and each of their 133 friends see it and so on, so on, so forth. As of today, we have 16 likes. See you soon! Jan Johansen R:Cop
