Can anyone help me with how to send an unattended email from RBase 9.1 without the use on an outlook client (MapiMail3) and without attachments. Most of the time when I want to send an email from RBase it's in relation to a report, and I can just use the EMAIL ON option. But I would like to be able to send without producing a report as well. If RBase can email a report without an outlook client present, certainly I can do the same without a report, right?
Right! Yes, you CAN send an unattended email from R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 without the use of MapiMail3, or any attachments. All you need to do is create an e-mail template using R:Mail Editor 9.1, and then use R:Mail 9.1 Plugin along with Form Timer to send unattended (event driven) e-mails as you wish. And, you happen to have all these cool tools to take advantage of such features in your application. Let me know if you need a sample application to demonstrate the use of such features using R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (64), R:Mail Editor 9.1, and R:Mail Plugin 9.1. Very Best R:egards, Razzak.
