FWIW, "Runtime" version of R:BASE does NOT include the installer nor setup for
corresponding R:BASE ODBC driver. You will have to either use the Full Version
of R:BASE, R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (32) in your case, or Oterro 9.1 (32) to setup
ODBC Driver for R:BASE 9.1 (32) on each workstation that will be using your
routine in application to use ODBC connection, etc. Please be advised that the
R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 ODBC driver is licensed on the same workstation running the
full version of R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 and not the Runtime or Compiler version of
R:BASE.
In reference to R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 Configuration (RBENGINE91_32.CFG) file, and
all SCRATCH files, make sure that you place the default RBENGINE91_32.CFG file
in \Windows folder and then update the SCRATCH option accordingly, especially
when using the "Runtime" version, which does NOT install
RBENGINE91_32.CFG file
in \Windows folder automatically. The default setting for SCRATCH is always
set to "TMP". However, you may customize this option if deemed necessary.
