Just curious, try changing the startup file name to rbase.dat and remove the 
parameters from the windows shortcut.

See if it works okay now.

Thanks Razzak ... From the shortcut, no trace occurs...but if RB9.1 is
already started and the file is executed, it traces and runs with no errors.

Tom,

At the beginning of the DAT file, add the following command, then start the
shortcut, and see what you observe.

SET TRACE ON

Step through each line [F10], and watch for -ERROR- message(s).

Hope that provides you with some blue's clues!
