Subject: [RBASE-L] - Jumping fields
I ran into a problem I have not seen. A form uses a TEXT(60) line to enter a
task description. Previously the cursor simply stopped if the 61st character is
entered. Today, two users have watched the cursor jump to an INTEGER field and
erase what is there. Other times it jumps to a NOTE field. An error message
about exceeding the number of values comes up occasionally. I tried turning off
all the tab jumps and rebuilt several fields. Clean, rebuilt data using 9.1 64
compiled with 2/14 update. No errors in AUTOCHK. Computer is virus free.
Restarted computer with same results. Other Text lines in other forms seem to
be OK. I do have a lot of action going on behind the scene using Custom Form
Actions but these have not been edited for months and the form is used
regularly. I’ll probably turn those off and start back at scratch. Any other
ideas?
