R:azzak,

It is nice to have all the new features in one place. I have immediate
use for several of them.

Javier,

Yes, we want to make sure that every eXclusive feature is itemized in
one place.

I even have an R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 application that illustrates all new
features with source code and documentation. This is included with 2012
SAT Sample Applications.

By the way, do you have any suggestions in regards to my post yesterday
related to enhanced grids? I keep thinking that I am missing something
really simple.

Well, you want to use double-click on Enhanced DB Grid to bring up the
pop-up menu, right?

Did you know that there is already an option for "On Double Click" EEP?

Form Designer | Enhanced DB Grid |Enhanced DB Grid Properties | EEPs ...

. On Entry into DB Grid
. On Exit from DB Grid
. On Entry into DB Grid Column
. On Exit from DB Grid Column
. On DB Grid Column Move
. On DB Grid Cell Click
. On Double Click

So, technically, in your specific situation, when you double-click, the
underlying control is looking to execute the "On Double Click" EEP, if
defined, and not to bring up the pop-up menu. That is the exact reason
for such a behavior, in your case.

Having said that, if you still wish, you could (very nicely), submit an
ENHANCEMENT request and NOT a BUG (because we know better) to "enhance"
the existing functionality that would first look at the EEP, if defined,
and if there is no EEP defined, then bring up the Pop-Up menu, if defined.
That would be a very COOL feature in already enhanced R:BASE eXtreme 9.5,
which you should be able to test in R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (RC1), to be
available soon.

Of course, that is my personal advice to handle a situation like that.

Just for the record, the majority of all R:BASE features/enhancements
are handled that way. R:BASE is a product that is "constantly" being
developed upon the valuable feedback and requests by our loyal users,
developers, and RBTI's government and corporate VIP customers.

And remember, nothing is impossible!

We have the talent, knowledge, and most importantly, the resources to
accomplish anything you can imagine, with R:BASE and R:BASE related
products/solutions only!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
