In our system when a user comes to a data field it turns AQUA to show where you
are. This has worked for years. Lately we are finding people claiming that text
turns BLUE then disappears when they start to type. I had never seen that
action and could not duplicate it until today when I clicked into a field via
the mouse. It turned AQUA like it should, but then the 4 line text section
turned BLUE exactly like Windows Cut/Paste commands and disappeared when I hit
any key leaving an empty field. I tried several more times in one of the backup
copies and could not make the BLUE response happen again even in the exact same
form/field. Every form uses a property command to determine if it is in Admin
mode or not, but that simply controls the Win XP Close/Max/Min buttons and
DISABLECLOSEACTION

I do not want to lose the actual CUT/PASTE activity because it is used all the
time to dup information, but I want the user to control when it happens. How do
I control this apparent random CUT/PASTE setup? Or what might be a cause? An
obvious simple solution is just move the cursor, but for several employees that
is apparently too much thinking process. Ron White's philosophy of what you
cannot fix comes immediately to mind. Am I missing something very easy? v91 64
