Tom,
    I think that you could use an ON Keypress EEP to track the current and previous keypress and dump one if they are both CRLFs.
    Alternatively, you could read the whole entry after it is complete character by character into a new variable and allow only one CRLF to be copied into the new variable.  Let me know if you want a code example.
