I'm told the ancients used INSERT UNTO.
This construct didn't make it into ANSI SQL, along with WHEREOF, WHICHKIND and WHITHERSOEVER.

When APPEND starts getting cranky I rewrite to use UNSERT INTO instead.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - internal error addendum
This error occurs when I am trying to APPEND a temp view made up of 12
columns and 33000 rows to a temp table.
Many of the columns in the view are computed.
As I said prior to this year, this was not a problem. It looks like
there may be too much memory used for the APPEND operation.
This is in 7.6.
