Karen,

What is probably happening is the pasted data contains linefeeds or carriage
returns.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Paste as Plain Text?

Using 9.1. We have a Note field and we found out that people have been doing
copy-and-paste from other programs (like from an email) into this Note field.
RBase is actually handling it very nicely and there were no complaints -- until
we did an "unload data" from this table. Some of these pasted items were
missing continuation characters (the +) at the end of lines so the unload file
could not be run. Yeah, we can switch to a Varchar. But we (consultant
and I) were wondering if there is by any chance a way to "paste as plain text"
that we could utilize to put the data into a Note field without all the extra
garbage coming with it.
