Hi All, I am new to R:base and am trying to use our vendor database to automate production of the contracts that we use. The basic contract exists as a Rich Text object in a report and interfaces with the database via “variable labels” and “DB labels”. This works, as expected, but does not provide a means to add a page break, so the final document looks shoddy.
My solution to this was to use an Advanced Rich Text object instead, which allows hard page breaks and works well in this context. My problem is that not all of the data print from this object, although they print just fine from the standard Rich Text object. The fields in question are of type varchar and are entered through a form. When edited, these fields open the BLOB editor and I find I can place text or a bitmap. Other fields and variables appear to print fine but not the varchars. What did I miss?
