To R:BASE Community,
From the Edge: Understanding the Scrolling Region
Section: Form Designer, Database Controls
Version: R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (32/64) for Windows
A new technical document explaining the Scrolling Region in R:BASE
eXtreme 9.5 is now available.
The Scrolling Region is a table-driven control that contains other
controls. Scrolling regions are useful when you want to include a
fixed region on a form that will scroll to accommodate large
amounts of data.
For example, if you use a Contacts table, a Scrolling Region can
be used to display numerous contact records from the table, and
allows you to insert new rows into the table.
