Larry and Mike, I clicked on an existing db edit box, the used the ctrl copy, then ctrl page up, then ctrl page left,. then clicked on the tab box, then clicked on the paste button, it appeared but was not attached to the tab form. It could be moved off the tab box control. A new db edit or static text would be locked on the tab contol box. I must be doing somethinmg wrong.Boyd

Did you read my previous message and make sure you're not copying so that the new controls are in the new container, but out of sight? -- Larry
