My first question is: Is there a better way to look for these old
references/lookups?
Using R:BASE eXtreme 9.5, you can search for any reference(s) in
Command Files, Forms, External
Form, Reports, Labels, including all embedded EEPs, Form/Report/Label
Expressions, and Form Actions.

Second question: How long does Rbase store deleted tables, reports &
forms, even after a pack?
They are gone for good, once you either RELOAD or PACK the database.
Very Best R:egards,
