I am by no means a 'guru' but have been compiling for quite some time. I find it best to just compile a startup file much like Razz has shown many times. Several tips I would pass along is always, always use the same compiler vesion as your Rbase version and each time there is an update recompile. Something else that seems to be very beneficial in the long run is to set all your parameters in the startup but I prefer to use a 'run select' to actually start a form or run an app this way I only have to worry about compiling one file.

We would like to talk to a compiler "guru" and learn all the tips and gotchas so our learning curve won't be so big. We could either do a conference call, or better yet a GoToMeeting session that you could host. Frank is willing to pay for your time. If you're interested, email me privately! Karen
