Dan,

How do you like the Windows 8 operating system? Android does a decent job,
but by no means I am married to it. The hope is that eventually Surface Pro
(or a subset) will be ported to phones and it will run current Windows
applications.

I keep hearing about Android having more aps than windows 8, but in reality
these numbers are misleading, since there is a lot of duplication. I use
maybe a dozen Android applications and I am pretty sure there are comparable
Windows 8 applications.

I have a windows 8 phone and it is a totally different operating system than
windows. You cannot run Rbase on any phone(yet....). The only way is to use
remote desktop apps.

I am getting ready to preplace my T-Mobile HTC Google G2 Android phone as
the screen touch has been acting up; it has worked well up to now.

I am looking at the Samsung Galaxy S III as well as a couple of Windows 8
phones. Any suggestions and/or recommendations?

I am curious as how well the Windows 8 phones would work with R:Base; has
anyone played with this combination?
