Is there a list of the locations of those default locations? I know where the
database is, but I don't know about things system files, cfg files etc.

Mike,

I believe your issue is related to user privileges; Windows 7 is more strict
than precious version. Make sure the user  has read and write privileges for
all the directories he will be using , particularly the directory where the
database is located and where the default setup files are stored.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Fixing Default settings for non admin users on Win 7

Hi all,

I the past, when I was using Windows XP, if a non administrator user was using
Rbase 9.5, the R> had a white back ground and acted strangely. I was able to
fix it by running RBG95_32_Default_Settings.exe.
Now that I have changed the OS to Windows 7 32 bit, running
RBG95_32_Default_Settings.exe is not working. I have logged in as the non admin
user, and I run RBG95_32_Default_Settings.exe as an Administrator. When asked
for the installation directory, I choose the default, c:\RBTI\RBG95_32.
If I make the user an Administrator (not a great option) then the R> works fine.

What am I doing wrong?
Mike
