The missing scroll bar problem in HELP was solved by installing Internet Explorer. Since I have no internet connection on my "work" laptop, I had no Internet Explorer program. Why would you? But once I loaded IE, then the scroll bars appeared. Thanks all. Patti

As a developer, I'm using a laptop with Windows XP with service pack 3. I was just trying to go thru testing and conversion. But when I look at help topics, there are no vertical scroll bars on the windows. The text continues below the edge of my screen, but I have no way of seeing it. My icons are all small and my resolution is 1024 by 768. I tried changing it to 1920 by 1440, but my whole desktop disappears.
