Is there a recommended specification for running R:Base 7.6 on a VMWare virtual machine? For Example - number of processors. Are there any gotchas with running 7.6 on a VM with 4 processors? I have been getting some interesting symptoms lately and am wondering if R:Base 7.6 is happy with 4vCPU on VMWare version 8?
