Tip of the Day: Computed Columns At A Glance
Product: R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (32/64)
Build..: 9.5.2.20521 or higher www.rupdates.com
Section: Data Designer, RBDefine, Columns, Computed Columns

Within the R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 Data Designer, also called RBDefine,
users can create and modify table definitions for a table. Table
definitions can include Table, Columns, Keys/Indexes, Rules, and
Triggers.

Within the "Columns" section, computed columns can be created by
defining a custom expression, whose end result will populate the
field.

Did you know that enhanced R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 Data Designer will
now display a calculator image within the Columns Number list,
indicating a computed column?

Just looking at the list of columns, you can glance all computed
columns in that table.

In the image below, it is easily recognizable that the SalePrice
and ExtPrice columns are computed.

How coooool is that?

Stay productive, my friends!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
