Razzak, I am putting together a sample now to send over.
When I get back from my trip to the Miami office next week I will take you up on some tips and tricks for sure. Thanks -- Frank Frank Taylor - Director of Information Technology F.J. Any ideas? Frank, Technically, everything that works using the full version of R:BASE 9.5, should work using R:Compiled application with a few exceptions, such as access to the R> Prompt, Form/Label/Report Designers, Debugger/Tracer, etc. If you can prepare a simple test and send it to the members of eXpanded R:Dream Team at mailto:[email protected], so that they can look at your code and then either provide you with the correct syntax, etc., or fix a reliably replicable boo-boo for the upcoming "MAJOR Update 3" of R:BASE eXtreme 9.5, to be released soon. Once taken care of, as a member of our Corporate VIP customer circle, you will be able receive the pre-release version for your internal testing prior to the official release. >This also brings up a second question, as I am new to compiling my >applications, does anyone have any tips or suggestions on debugging >issues in compiled apps? Generally, all debugging and testing should be done prior to the final and compiled application, as R:Compiler will not initiate all modules as mentioned above, including the Debugger/Tracer.
